A combination of fine woodworking skills, furnature refinishing, surfboard making skills, and painting were used to complete this restoration project.

The deck had to be stripped with regular paint stripper.

Then sanded completely.

The wood was bleached.

Then is was stained.

WEST epoxy and fiberglass, followed by 4 "resin coats".

The edges were cut, the epoxy resin "shaped".

Then the entire surface was sanded to a fine finish, ready to be coated with Awlgrip Clear.
